Robert Wagner raised 3 women after the mysterious death of his wife — he looks ‘wonderful’ at 93

Robert Wagner’s loving daughter Natasha Gregson Wagner claims she had to assist in clearing her father’s name after “years of painful speculation” since she was involved as a “person of interest” in the unexplained death of his wife, Natalie Wood.

Having been on screen with icons such as Raquel Welch, Paul Newman, and Debbie Reynolds, Robert Wagner, who is currently 93 years old, is the dashing face behind hit TV shows like It Takes a Thief, Switch, and Hart to Hart from the 1970s and 1980s.

The actor who portrayed Dr. Evil in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery claims to have been romantically associated to some of Hollywood’s biggest actresses, including Joan Crawford, Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Collins, and Barbara Stanwyck, an actor he met while filming Titanic (1953) and who is 20 years his older.

But the dark-haired beauty who won his heart was Natalie Wood, the belle of Hollywood, with whom he fell in love when she was just ten years old.

The rosy-cheeked kid from Miracle on 34th Street, Wood, said, “I was 10 and he was 18 when I first saw him walking down a hall at 20th Century Fox,” in a 1976 People interview. “I’m going to marry him,” I murmured, turning to face my mother.

She did wed him after all. Twice, in fact.

Following their 1957 marriage and 1962 divorce, the couple spent ten years apart before getting remarried and starting new families with their new partners. The Rebel Without a Cause performer and producer Richard Gregson has a daughter named Natasha, born in 1970, while Wagner and Marion Mitchell had a daughter named Katie, born in 1963.

After getting back together, Wagner and the West Side Story actor got married again in 1972. They had a daughter named Courtney together, who was born in 1974.

But our love for one another never wavered. We discussed our marriages and what had happened to them. He was no longer a boy; he was a man. However, we had to spend those years apart,” the late Wood remarked.

Wood was 43 years old when she is reported to have drowned in the waters close to Catalina Island following an evening spent on a yacht with Wagner and actor Christopher Walken. She was discovered floating face down in the lake the following day while just wearing a nightgown.

Following her passing, Wagner was named Natasha’s official guardian. Natasha, who is now 52 years old and ferociously protective of her father, was 11 years old at the time of her death.

Actor Natasha appears in the 2020 HBO documentary Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind, which she also co-produced. “For so many years we were advised to ignore or not talk about it,” she adds. However, enough is enough. I am confident that he would have offered his life to save my mother if she had been in any type of danger.

Wagner, who was 90 years old at the time of the interview, responded, “It’s true.” “She said that because she is aware of who I am and that I would never have hurt her mother,” the woman added.

When Wood’s case went cold in 2020, it was closed, and her death is still unsolved.

The A Kiss Before Dying star, who wed actress Jill St. John in 1982—a year after Wood passed away—is a loving and present father who revealed that he sought advice from a psychiatrist on how to break the news to his girls gently.

Natasha says of her biological father and stepfather Wagner, “I think my Dad and Daddy Gregson, they were trying to pick up the pieces for us and stumble forward and find out what our life looked like after that.” “I was extremely fortunate to have two fathers who were devoted to raising me and supporting me throughout my life.”

Wagner’s Instagram feed, where he uses every chance to pay tribute to his family, is a testament to his love for his kids and now grandchildren. And his admirers just can’t get enough of him.

He posted a picture of himself with his grandchildren on Father’s Day along with the message, “Happy Father’s Day to Me,” along with Courtney, Katie, and Natasha. I am incredibly fortunate to be these amazing people’s father and grandfather.

Author of “I love her in the Movies,” Wagner, shared a recent picture of his son-in-law, actor Barry Watson, who is well-known for the films Samantha Who? and 7th Heaven, on his birthday. “Robert Wagner is still the classiest man alive,” one fan wrote in the comments section. Others praised the actor for his “handsome” and “wonderful and happy” appearance.

On May 11, Katie’s birthday, he expressed sincere birthday greetings to his first child. Please join me in wishing a very happy birthday to Katie, my daughter. My heart, my firstborn. I am incredibly proud of the wife, mother, and daughter you have grown into. I adore you so much,” he added alongside a cute picture of himself and his girlfriend.

In March, he had shared an old family photo of himself and Wood, looking dashing in a white dress, with him in a tuxedo. He captioned the photo, saying, “Please join me in wishing a happy birthday to my beautiful daughter, Courtney.” We adore you so much and consider you to be such a blessing in our lives.

His numerous posts of his late wife are possibly the kindest. He recently posted a picture of himself and Wood from their wedding, writing, “Natalie was my girl and then she was my wife.” Nat, happy 65th anniversary. Beyond love.

Robert Wagner raised these three stunning girls in an excellent manner! It’s adorable to see how involved he is as a parent based on all of his Instagram photos.
