The longtime couple was recently spotted kissing in Aspen, Colorado. Traveling to the ski resort town has been a decades-long tradition for Hawn, 78, and Russell, 72, who have been together since 1983.

The two wore matching earth tones, as Hawn was dressed in green pants and a white coat. Russell wore a brown jacket and blue jeans while carrying a shopping bag.Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn Share a Kiss in Aspen

During last year’s trip, the Monarch: Legacy of Monstersactor and Snatched actress were spotted in the travel hot spot completing some last-minute Christmas shopping. A year prior, they ran some holiday errands wearing matching Western-style hats.

In a virtual appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan(now known asLive with Kelly and Mark) in 2022, Oliver Hudson opened up his family’s home in Aspen.

Mom built this house first, and then my step-dad Kurt built the other house. So we lived here in 1985 for two years,” he said while giving a view of the home. Hudson joked that his mom refuses to update its decor and revealed why he considers it a special place.

“I went to elementary school up here. I actually took my kids out of school five years ago in L.A. and took them up here to live in the mountains and have some independence and some freedom. It’s a really special place for sure,” he said.Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn Share a Kiss in Aspen

Hawn and Russell have raised their kids together, including daughter Kate Hudson and sons Boston Russell and Wyatt Russell, whom they welcomed together.

In an interview with CNN’s Chris Wallace in July, Hawn opened up about why they have never married.

When it doesn’t work out, it ends up to be big business,” she said. “It’s always ugly. Somebody actually has to take a look and say, ‘How many divorces actually are fun? How many divorces actually don’t cost money? How many divorces actually make you hate the person more than you did before? How many divorces have hurt children?'”

Hawn echoed the same sentiments in a December 2020 cover story interview with PEOPLE.

“It’s not about the marriage. It’s about the people and the relationship, and the will to stay together. And that’s a big one because if you want it, you can have it,” said Hawn. “You’ve got to give things up, but the joy and the excitement of being together and touching the toes of somebody at night is really a nice feeling.”
