Rumer Willis Shares Adorable Throwback Of Bruce Willis And Demi Moore Dancing

Despite their divorce in 2000, Die Hard star Bruce Willis and his actress ex-wife Demi Moore have maintained an admirably cordial relationship, particularly for their kids— Rumer, Scout LaRue, and Tallulah. Although Bruce is remarried to Emma Heming, with whom he shares two girls, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn, Demi has remained present and supportive as he battles recent health issues.

Amid updates about Bruce’s ordeal with Frontotemporal Dementia, his first daughter Rumer recently took to Instagram with a throwback video of him dancing with Demi. The clip was from 2020 when the former couple had a playful moment while in Idaho during the COVID lockdown. This is you in all your silliness and glory, and I love it,” Rumer wrote of her dad.

Fans were touched by the adorable moment caught on camera and were grateful to Rumer for sharing. “So much love. I always loved Bruce and Demi. It’s so beautiful to see them live as a blended family with no jealousy or ego involved. We could all learn by their example,” someone wrote. “What a wonderful person you have to be for your ex-wife to look at you with such love. Bruce is amazing,” another noted.

Bruce and Demi’s 13-year marriage ended due to “irreconcilable differences.” However, they reportedly grew “closer than they ever were” after the split. They were so supportive of each other that they attended their weddings to other partners and co-parent peacefully. Sadly, Bruce allegedly hardly recognizes Demi due to his declining health, which primarily affects his memory and social skills.

While speaking with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy, Demi was candid about what she had learned while caring for Bruce. “I think the most important thing I could share is just to meet them where they’re at,” the 61-year-old said last year, adding that it helps to “take in the joy and the love that is present and there for all that they are, not all that they’re not.”

The mother of three shared a similar message earlier this year on Good Morning America with host George Stephanopoulos. “What I’ll say is what I say to my children, which is it’s important to just meet them where they’re at and not hold onto what isn’t because there’s great beauty and sweetness and loving and joy out of that,” she echoed.
