Bruce Willis’ Family Is Reportedly ‘Soaking Up’ Every Moment With Him As They Don’t Know ‘How Much Time’ He Has Left

Bruce Willis‘ loved ones reportedly don’t know “how much time” he has left following his heartbreaking dementia diagnosis, with sources revealing that the family will be making every second count this holiday season.

The Assassin actor’s family revealed in March 2022 that he was retiring from Hollywood after being diagnosed with aphasia. In February 2023, it was revealed that he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD,) with his family announcing the news in a joint statement at the time. “While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” the statement read. “FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone.”Bruce Willis family photo Demi Moore Instagram

Bruce Willis’ Family Are ‘Soaking Up Every Moment They Get With Him’

According to reports, the 68-year-old Die Hard actor is having “more bad days than good” at the moment, and his ex-wife, Demi Moore, 61, and their daughters Rumer, 35, Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 29, as well as his wife Emma, 45, and their daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9, are “soaking up” every moment with him.

“Bruce has good days and bad days, but in the last two months, there are many more bad days than good,” an insider shared with Us Weekly, adding: “This experience has brought the whole family even closer together. No one knows how much time Bruce has left, so they’re soaking up every moment they get with him.”

This echoed what Moonlighting creator Glenn Gordon Caron told The Post back in October, as he revealed that Willis is “not totally verbal” when he visits him. “I have tried very hard to stay in his life. He’s an extraordinary person,” he said at the time. “The thing that makes [his disease] so mind-blowing is [that] if you’ve ever spent time with Bruce Willis, there is no one who had any more joie de vivre than he. He loved life and just adored waking up every morning and trying to live life to its fullest. So the idea that he now sees life through a screen door, if you will, makes very little sense.”

A second insider explained to Us Weekly that all of his children, as well as ex-wife Demi, are practically living together at his home, as they are “all there all the time.” They said: “Once Bruce was diagnosed, everyone came together to keep his memory of the family intact and to be there as a constant reminder [that they] love him. [Everything] revolves around him.”

Another source said that the Ghost actress is the “facilitator,” and is responsible for bringing the family together, as “sadly, there’s this ticking clock connected to Bruce’s condition.” The source added: “Everyone has come together for Bruce. They’re thankful they have each other.”
