Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney ‘clash’ over how to honour late friend Matthew Perry
Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney are said to be struggling to agree on the best way to honour their late friend Matthew Perry after he was found dead in his hot tub at the age of 54.
Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney are reportedly at odds over how to pay tribute to their late friend, Matthew Perry.
The Friends star was found unresponsive in his hot tub at his newly renovated home on October 28, passing away at the age of 54.
The cause of Matthew’s death was ruled as accidental, with “acute effects of ketamine” listed on his autopsy report.
Other contributing factors included “drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine (used to treat opioid use disorder)” according to the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner.
A source told the National Enquirer that Jennifer and George are struggling to agree on a fitting tribute.
The insider revealed: “It’s a dramatic clash of perspectives as Jennifer remains staunch in her determination to preserve a positive image of Perry.
“She wants to emphasize the joy he brought into the world, particularly highlighting that he seemed happy on the day he passed away.”
George is reportedly pushing for a raw and real look at Matthew’s life to help others.
An insider shared: “Clooney, known for his candid honesty, believes being truthful about Matthew’s challenges – particularly with addiction – could serve as a valuable lesson and help others facing similar battles.”
Jennifer showed signs of “inner vulnerability” at the AFI Awards Luncheon, says a body language expert. This was her first public appearance since allegations surfaced about Matthew “assaulting women” before he passed away at 54.
It’s been said that Matthew once “shoved” someone when he lost control.
Body language pro Judi James analysed Jennifer’s demeanour, noting she might be grieving for Matthew while also dealing with the recent scandalous claims.
Judi told The Mirror: “A mouth shrug of regret might work but instead Jennifer’s body language looks polite but rather subdued here.
Jennifer wants to “preserve a positive image of Perry”
“Her mouth smile suggests complex emotions, with a lack of teeth-baring and an asymmetric twisting of the lips instead.
“She seems to cling to Robert Downey Jr, with both arms around his torso showing affection, along with her clasped hands, and this pose could hint at some inner vulnerability.
“When she stands alone on the red carpet her hands are held slightly to the front of her body and her shoulders look a little hunched, plus her eye-gaze seems to be above the cameras too, hinting she might be happier not getting into discussions at this rather difficult moment in time.”
