Dawson’s Creek premiered on January 20, 1998, and quickly became a beloved series by the millennial generation. With stars like James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, and Katie Holmes, audiences were totally drawn to the dramatic stories of the teens for 6 seasons. Since the show ended in 2003, the cast members have gone on to have incredibly successful careers and are still very much a part of the entertainment industry today.
James Van Der Beek has continued to be a staple of the small screen, appearing in everything from Pose to Ugly Betty and even a stint on Dancing With the Stars in 2019!

Katie Holmes’s personal life became a major fixture for fans after she wed Tom Cruise in 2006 and welcomed the couple’s daughter, Suri Cruise, the same year. In 2012, the couple divorced, but Katie has dedicated herself to giving Suri as normal a childhood as possible in New York City.
Michelle Williams has gone on to earn four Academy Award nominations for her work in films Brokeback Mountain, Blue Valentine, My Week With Marilyn, and Manchester By The Sea.

Katie Holmes played Joey Potter on Dawson’s Creek. After her time on the show, she played Rachel Dawes in ‘Batman Begins’ opposite Christian Bale and had a high-profile relationship with Tom Cruise, which ended in divorce in 2012. She welcomed her daughter Suri Cruise in April 2006. She recently wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the film Alone Together.

Michelle Williams played Jen Lindley on Dawson’s Creek. Since her time on the show, Michelle has gone on to earn four Oscar nominations for her work in film and won an Emmy in 2019 for her work in FX’s Fosse/Verdon. She’s received rave reviews for her performance in Steven Spielberg’s 2022 film The Fablemans.
She has one daughter, Matilda, with ex Heath Ledger. She is now married to Thomas Kail and has two children with him.

James Van Der Beek played the titular Dawson Leery on Dawson’s Creek. After his time on the show, James earned a number of guest appearances on shows like Medium, One Tree Hill, and Ugly Betty. He went on to appear in Ryan Murphy’s acclaimed series Pose and had a successful stint on the ABC reality competition show Dancing With the Stars. He has moved to Texas with his wife, Kimberly, and their 6 children.

Joshua Jackson played Pacey Witter on Dawson’s Creek. Since the hit teen series, he has stuck to TV, appearing in shows like Fringe, When They See Us, and earning acclaim for his work in The Affair.
