Robyn Bernard has been found dead at the age of 64 in San Jacinto, California on Tuesday morning. She was known for her role as Terry Brock in the popular soap opera, General Hospital, after making her debut in 1984 before leaving the TV show in 1990.
Throughout her career, she also starred in shows such as Diva, Simon & Simon and Betty Blue, whilst further projects included Whiz Kids, The Facts of Life, Tour of Duty and Kings for a Day in what turned out to be a relatively brief career.
Her final credited role was in 2002 before she dropped out of the acting scene for the final 22 years of her life. Her final role was as a psychologist in Voices from High School.
Bernard was born on May 26, 1959 in Gladewater, Texas to a family in which she is survived by her father and her two sisters.
Her time of death was 04:08 in the morning of Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
What was the cause of death?
Her discovery was unusual and could prompt suspicion as she was found in an “open field behind a business” according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office although they are clear to stress that no foul play is expected.
Furthermore, a toxicology report could take weeks to appear yet so it’s unknown if her death was caused by substances/substance abuse. According to TMZ, an autopsy was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 13.
