In February 2023, it was reported that Shiloh had no more ill will against her dad, Pitt. Shiloh had “forgiven” Pitt for his past transgressions and not being there for her in the years after the incident on the plane occurred. Now, Shiloh just wanted to move on and build their relationship.
“She knows Brad’s sober now and doing his best,” an insider explained. In addition, Shiloh wants Jolie to “move on and be happy.”

The insider went on to say that Shiloh has been “begging Angie” to find common ground and finalize the divorce so that everyone in the family can move on.
“Shiloh might just be the bridge he needs to better mend his relationship,” a source stated.
This is because Pitt and Shiloh have much in common, including how they relate to others.
Angelina Jolie reportedly was upset with Brad Pitt for acting like a bachelor while they were married.
“They not only look alike, but they have the same big heart,” the source went on to say. “They’re very compassionate and loving. They’re both very open, they enjoy meeting new people. Shiloh seems to have somehow picked up Brad’s midwestern demeanor.”
Despite reports that Pitt and Shiloh are in a good place these days, many fans are not really believing the hype surrounding the stories that sources are feeding the press. They believe that Pitt or his people may be behind the stories instead.
Fans Think That Brad Pitt May Have Planted The Story About Shiloh Jolie-Pitt For Positive PR
Given the bad press that Brad Pitt was receiving regarding his relationship with his kid, fans think Pitt or his PR team leaked the story
“InTouch is published by a360 Media previously known as American Media Inc (AMI),” one fan wrote. “Publicists tended to run to AMI when they either wanted stories caught and killed or PR fodder. AMI rebranded as a360 and no longer publishes National Enquirer or Globe, but has many gossip mags under its umbrella.”
The fan went on to say, “Matthew Hiltzik, Brad Pitt’s PR guy, previously worked for [Harvey] Weinstein and Johnny Depp.”
Brad and Maddox’s relationship still appears strained, but Angelina doesn’t appear to be helping the situation.
A third fan stated, “The source is InTouch. The source is Brad PR.”
It is not clear who the sources are behind the leaked story from February 2023. What is clear is that fans are not buying what they are reading. Despite this fact, many are still hopeful that Pitt and Shiloh, as well as the rest of his children, are on the path to rebuilding their relationships.
That may ultimately prove to be easier said than done with the older kids, however.

That, in conjunction with his absence from their lives as a result of not having custody for a time, has led to major repairs needing to be done to patch things up between Pitt, Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox, Pax, Vivienne, and Knox. Unfortunately, with some of the kids, the damage done may be beyond repair.

Approximately a week before that Instagram post was leaked, Zahara attended a sorority event with Jolie by her side. At the event, Zahara had to introduce herself to the room. When Zahara introduced herself, the surname “Pitt” was left off of her name. It has been speculated that the relationship between Zahara and Pitt is on the rocks as well.
By all accounts, the relationship between Pitt and Vivienne and Knox appears to be the strongest of his children. This has been speculated to be because they were so young when the marriage between Pitt and Jolie ended that they do not recall any of the less happy times in the household.
While there were years when Pitt was away from them because of sole custody being given to Jolie, since he has been awarded joint custody, Pitt has the twins in his care as much as Jolie does, suggesting that while all may be lost with Shiloh and Pitt’s other children, the twins might still be close with their dad.
